The Anamosa Fire Department was established in 1857 and is the oldest organization in Jones County. The Anamosa Fire Department protects the nearly 6,000 residents of Anamosa, two unincorporated communities of Stone City and Amber, over one hundred square miles of rural farms and residential acreages as well as two large parks, The Wapsipinicon State Park and the Linn County Matsel Park.
Donations to the Fire Department can be dropped off at the Police Station or mailed to 100 E 1st Street. Thank you!
